When I signed Helen-Lee Stevens on as the exclusive broker to sell my Co-op at 65 Central Park West – she exceeded all my expectations. Initially, she took the correct steps in getting my classic 5 apartment ready for showings and potential buyers. She handled all details from getting it painted, windows cleaned, floors polished to reconfiguring the furniture to maximize space and Central Park views. When complete – it was so transformed we joked maybe I shouldn’t sell it. We strategized together to price it correctly but most memorable was how she found the perfect buyer! At one of the Open Houses – she met a doctor who liked the apt. but was going to pass as he was only interested in condos where he wouldn’t have to deal with the aggravation of passing a co-op’s board approval process. Helen-Lee worked with the potential buyer, his attorney and broker to get him comfortable with the process and its requirements. He passed the board easily and this fall she will be helping me again - to find a new apartment.

Consistently upbeat, realistic, willing to go that extra mile and always thinking of my interests, I was assured that selling my apartment was a top priority for her and she would do whatever necessary to get me the best price for it. She more than kept her word! Helen-Lee initially discovered there was a problem that the banks were having lending in my building - obviously, an extremely important component for buyer’s to get financing! Helen-Lee got it rectified as quickly as possible and worked with two lenders to satisfy their issues so they we were able to lend there immediately. When we found our buyer - she held both of our hands and made sure our needs were met. The buyer had a concern with a noise issue - which Helen-Lee solved working with the managing agent and building super to rectify. She was on top of every issue making sure everyone was satisfied and in the loop so the deal could progress to a successful closing...
