About Me

Born and raised in Montauk, Matt grew up about a half mile from the lighthouse and spent his formative years roaming the bluffs and the beaches below, satisfying his thirst for all things aquatic. After leaving to spend four painfully landlocked years at Bucknell University in Central Pennsylvania, where he earned a dual BA in economics and psychology, Matt returned home to explore the family business and spent two years working offshore as a commercial fisherman, where he picked up the tireless work ethic that serves his customers and clients so well today.

After a few close calls offshore, Matt decided to seek a bit safer career path and moved to New York City, where he spent five years in various positions in the financial services industry, eventually settling in as a sell-side equity analyst providing stock recommendations to hedge funds and other institutional investors. Working on Wall Street, Matt gained many valuable skills which he employs in his real estate practice today; he brings to the table a refined analytical skill set and negotiation skills learned from some of the best in the business.

Despite loving the challenges and complexities of the financial markets, Matt could not substitute the concrete of New York City for the beaches of his youth and returned home to Montauk in 2013, joining Saunders and Associates before moving to the Atlantic Team with Douglas Elliman in late 2015.
