About Me

First and foremost, Luis Flores is a loving Husband to Lisa, and Father to Adam, and Aliza; Luis is a Family Man.
Being Native to San Diego coupled with his voracious hunger for learning has enabled him to provide his Clients with outstanding service and results throughout his career. Luis prides himself in being ethical and non-pushy and is committed to obtaining the best result possible for all his valued Client's. Being bilingual (fluent in Spanish), has extended Luis's ability to help people in the Latin Community; this is especially so when it comes to translating and understanding Contractual Obligations which can seem unclear without proper guidance and understanding. Some of Luis' passions include yoga, working out, football (aka soccer), reading, and spending time with Family. Luis is also a bit of history buff and loves learning History via World Travel.

Why Luis?

Back in 2008 when the collapse of the Real Estate industry became our reality as a Nation, Luis was working for a Law Firm as a Legal Administrator (Liaison) to four of San Diego's most decorated Bankruptcy Attorneys. The Firm specialized in helping people file for Bankruptcy and Loan Modification. During that time Luis would meet with 8-10 Client's daily who were desperately hoping to stop the foreclosure process on their home by filing for bankruptcy or reaching an agreement with their lender via a Loan Modification in an attempt to save their home. Day in Day out Luis inundated with peoples stories about how some Predatory Realtor or Lender had convinced them to purchase a second property for investment purposes, refinance their home (for the down payment of the second property), use an ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) to purchase their house or do something they otherwise would not have done...The common denominator Luis found among all these people was that they were grossly misinformed and unformed about some of the vital details of their purchase or loan and ended up in a dangerous place. Luis also found that some folks that came into the Firm knew what they were getting themselves into when acquiring secondary properties but pretended to be victims because of their regret in hindsight. What these Folks did not understand was that filing for Bankruptcy would only temporarily stop their Mortgagor from completing the foreclosure process which would ultimately mean the loss of their home; this was devastating news to many in those difficult days. In some cases, Loan Modification was equally disappointing; as there was no guarantee and the Mortgagor could foreclose at any given moment, again, these were difficult times. The turning point for Luis came when an 85-year-old woman went into the Firm and explained that a realtor/lender had visited her home a year and a half earlier and asked if she would like to sell her house or possibly refinance? Her answer was "no; I only have a year of payments left on a 30 year fixed mortgage, and I don't want to sell."... In the end, the realtor/lender convinced her that it was a good idea to refinance her home and pull equity out for travel so she could enjoy her "golden years." It sounded great, so she decided to go for it. She had no idea that the only way to achieve this was via an Adjustable-rate-mortgage. And because her income (Social Security) was too low to sustain a fixed-rate loan payment; She was told not to worry (the old sign here) as home equity was on a meteoric rise and she'd easily be in a position to refinance in a couple of years even with her low income. Unfortunately, the market collapsed, and she was not able to obtain a fixed mortgage again, and ultimately lost her nearly paid off home via a calculated predatory attack; this enraged Luis!! As a result, Luis decided to become a Realtor. He vowed to do everything in his power to educate not just the uninformed, but all Client's he has the pleasure of serving. Luis views himself as an educator and protector of his valued Clients and is Committed to Their Success.
