About Me


Karen brings to her clients the perfect blend of analytical business savvy and inventive design flair. Her business acumen is gained from time on the West Coast pursuing an M.B.A. and working in sales and marketing for a Fortune 50 company. Her creativity and design sense is honed from years as a SoHo Gallery Director and from planning and implementing several home renovations.

When this Upper East Side resident decided to buy an apartment in the city she fell in love with the process; viewing properties, learning the market, identifying which attributes spoke to her and then navigating the board process to secure her dream home. From there, it was a short leap to entering the profession. It is because of this first experience that Karen still feels a kinship with first-time buyers and relishes in making their first experience a pleasant and rewarding one.

Now a seasoned broker, wife and mother, Karen feels a strong pull toward finding family homes for her contemporaries. With the priorities of an urban parent and the skills of an experienced professional, she manages to streamline the process for busy parents looking to buy and is empathetic to the schedules of seller's with small children.

Due to her empathy and unshakeable integrity, Karen has remained a presence in many of her former client's lives. For some it is social, drinks after work, a play date, or an invitation to see their home after they have moved in.
