About Me

John Ross (JP) is a South Florida native celebrating his 7th year with Douglas Elliman Palm Beach. JP's sales extend throughout Palm Beach County and occasionally beyond, however he focuses on waterfront areas and historic neighborhoods from Palm Beach and West Palm, south to Delray Beach and North to Jupiter. In 2019 JP's sales totaled over $10 million, including several waterfront properties. JP loves and embraces the challenge of helping a new client find their dream home, but he takes pride in the fact that many of his sales are referral based, or for existing clients. Through his dedication to service and honesty, JP strives to build lasting relationships with his clients. Many have now trusted and relied on JP through three or more transactions.
Before returning home to Palm Beach and joining Douglas Elliman, JP received his first real estate license at 18 and focused on renting apartments while studying in Boston. He later moved to Charleston South Carolina, and graduated from College of Charleston where he enjoyed studying historic preservation, interning with commercial real estate firm Marcus and Millichap, and serving as captain of the lacrosse team. Charleston fueled his love for old houses, but JP credits South Florida's 1920's architecture with first sparking that interest.
JP grew up on Palm Beach, and has lived in several of West Palm's historic neighborhoods, but is happy to be a resident of West Palm Beach's SOSO neighborhood where he lives with his girlfriend Alisa, and their German Shepherd Harvey. JP loves the South Florida lifestyle, and cherishes his time spent outdoors exploring trails on his mountain bike or enjoying local beaches and waterways, where he might be found paddle boarding, boating and fishing.
