Commuting between homes in Miami Beach and Manhattan, Genevieve Lake regularly handles real estate transactions in both cities while sharing insights and market statistics with buyers, sellers, and investors looking to profit from local market changes. She loves new development and is delighted to represent top developers in both markets.
"However," she likes to point out, "markets transcend statistics. To fully understand a market's evolution and trajectory you need to live there, immerse yourself in its culture, become attuned to its shifting demographics, and learn to read its pulse."
Raised in Stuart, Florida, Genevieve lived in West Palm Beach before moving to Miami when she was 20. At age 24, she relocated abroad, first to Copenhagen, then London, where she acted and modeled before returning home to take up her true passion, real estate. For the past seven years, she has called both Miami Beach and New York City home.
"This profession is much more than just buying or selling," says Genevieve, many of whose customers think of her as a "one-stop shop" for all things real estate-related. "It involves architecture, interior design, market analysis, and, most importantly, building long-lasting, trust based relationships that better serve clients and help turn them into friends."
A seasoned traveler and explorer ever eager for fresh destinations and exciting new adventures, Genevieve is an accomplished equestrian, enjoys cooking and entertaining, and loves volunteering at Miami-Dade Animal Services.
