Bio Gary Nurenberg

After 12 years working on trading desks at the city's best financial firms, including Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns, Gary Nurenberg has returned to the family business: real estate. "My grandfather and mother pioneered the real estate business in Brighton Beach back in 1978," Gary explains. "I learned so much from them growing up; I feel like real estate is in my blood."
Armed with more than a decade of indispensable experience in finance and a lifetime of New York City knowledge, Gary offers a finely honed work ethic, unbeatable analytical skills and a vast network of contacts who've grown to trust him with major monetary commitments. While Gary playfully calls himself a "relentless Russian" who doesn't give up until he's gotten the best deal for his clients, he enjoys the softer side of deal making, as well. He's tenacious and detail-oriented, but also a gregarious and charming people person who prides himself on being able to strike up a conversation with anyone.
Originally from Sheepshead Bay, today, Gary currently resides in Battery Park City with his wife and son. When he's not hard at work serving clients, he volunteers at the city's Animal Care Centers and plays sports. He played minor-league hockey professionally and has an 8 golf handicap. He's also fluent in Russian, participates in his community Chabad and regularly contributes to Golf Week magazine.
