Hailing from Tennessee, David earned a Bachelor in Architecture degree from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He previously worked with two renowned design firms, Ralph Appelbaum Associates, and Beyer Blinder Belle. David is insightful of how architectural form can impact the quality of a neighborhood, particularly historic architecture found in Brownstone Brooklyn, his passion. A Lower East Side resident since 1985, David loves the city's rich blend of cultures. He is involved with community and state-wide initiatives that make for a more friendly, clean, livable and enjoyable environment for all New Yorkers.
