About Me

Cheryl Penaranda is no stranger to Los Angeles or the real estate industry. Having lived in Pasadena with her family for over 24 years, she first entered the real estate sector to start a career in helping others. Utilizing her skills to achieve her client's needs, Cheryl found being a realtor to be the perfect fit.
Cheryl first began working with Dan Carrillo to successfully represent buyers and sellers in the residential market. She and Dan have continued working together at under the North By Northwest Group, a talented team working in tandem with NBNW Development to build green, ground up spec homes on hillside lots and custom homes for owner users. All NBNW Development spec homes are marketed and sold.

Cheryls eldest son and husband, Holden Penaranda and Al Penaranda, respectively, are also part of the NBNW Group. Holden is a member of NBNW Group and Al is the Managing Partner at NBNW Development. The unique offerings and expertise of the NBNW team enable Cheryl to connect with clients and uniquely address their needs.

She balances an intensive work ethic with an easygoing personality, constantly ideating creative techniques to market her client's properties. Prior to real estate, Cheryl worked for 12 years in the airline and cruise line industries.

Cheryl has a daughter and two sons, and has spent extensive time volunteering in schools. Cheryl enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and entertaining, going to local flea markets, and hiking with her dog Jack along trails in Pasadena and Altadena.
