About Me

Before embarking on her current career as a realtor, Carole was involved in the
Travel Industry. She was a partner in a boutique, wholesale travel company that
specialized in Archeological and Adventure tours throughout the Mediterranean- from Spain to Turkey-with particular emphasis on the Middle East and North Africa.
This successful enterprise allowed Carole to travel extensively around the world
and build a reputation for hands-on, personal service and excellence. People were
her business.

While visiting friends, she discovered the many obvious and hidden beauties of the North Fork and fell in love. In 1980 she purchased a charming home in Greenport and the enchantment grew. With the world political situation in turmoil, Carole saw it was time to make a change in her life, in a place she loved. She had always enjoyed looking at many kinds of houses from various eras and studying the local architecture wherever she
went. Her years-long interest in homes, coupled with her professional background and
her talent for working well with people, drew her to Real Estate. Being a realtor in her
community was the perfect fit. Being of service was also an opportunity to turn her
hobby and her experience into a career.

Carole joined Celic Realty-now Douglas Elliman Real Estate - in 2001. Her approach is not
a hard sell and she prides herself with having the insight to "marry" her customer to the right property. Her ear is sensitive and attuned to both the seller and the buyer.
This singular ability to really listen to people has brought her word-of-mouth customers and repeat clients.

Carole is a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR). She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York Association of Realtors and the Long Island Board
of Realtors. She was the founding president of SAVES,INC. (Spay, Alter, Vaccinate Every
Stray) which is the only not-for-profit organization humanely addressing the feral cat
population on the North Fork. She is currently its treasurer. Carole also supports a
number of community organizations including the North Fork Animal Shelter, Maureens's
Haven and the North Fork Community Theatre.
