She has been living in Tribeca since 1997 and has cultivated a vast knowledge of several different aspects of the Manhattan market through several successful property purchases and transactions. Her personal expertise has included converting an artist loft building into a co-op, a condo conversion, buying and selling new construction, converting an apartment into an office, improving and flipping more than one investment apartment, and recently designing and managing a complete gut renovation in her own Tribeca loft. She has worked closely with architects and contractors, successfully staged and marketed apartments for sale…and she lives to negotiate. Melissa also sits on the board of her own converted co-op, gaining vast experience managing each of the various city agencies and navigating the processes necessary to attain, convert and maintain space in this often difficult to understand NYC dwelling environment.
Her solid experience in the market combined with her passion for real estate, architecture and design laid the ideal groundwork for a full-time career in residential real estate. She devotes most of her free time to her family and traveling. Melissa speaks Spanish fluently, has lived in Latin America.
