MIAMI BEACH, FL (October 18, 2016) – Douglas Elliman proudly appoints Maggie Buck, CRB, as Managing Broker of the prestigious firm’s leading Miami Beach offices. Widely recognized across South Florida with over 25 years of luxury real estate experience, Maggie will play an instrumental management role in the firm’s continued growth. While overseeing and managing the day to day operations of the Miami Beach branches, Maggie will supervise staff, recruit new prospects and additionally concentrate her efforts on working with existing associates to establish and follow profitable business plans with a special focus on business development, growth, marketing, negotiations and the delivery of exceptional service.

Maggie is a welcomed asset to the Douglas Elliman family bringing with her a robust skillset and extensive real estate experience across South Florida. She joins Douglas Elliman following a twelve year tenure at Esslinger Wooten Maxwell, Inc. (EWM) where she served as Managing Broker of the brokerage’s Pinecrest branch. She additionally oversaw the general sales operations of the company’s Miami-Dade branch offices as Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager from 2004-2008.

Maggie managed, in succession, the Coconut Grove office, South Miami office, and Pinecrest office to standardize office procedures and work with the managers, as well as staff, in corporate policies. She additionally worked extensively on escrow and transaction disputes, development and implementation of company forms and agreements. Throughout her career, Maggie has excelled in maximizing profitability for offices under her reign.

Previously, Maggie owned her own Brokerage known as Maggie Buck & Associates Realty for nearly a decade. From the ground up Maggie established and serviced an extensive client base in selling, listing and leasing residential and commercial properties. As owner and managing broker of the Pinecrest-based firm she managed the day-to-day operations of the company, including bookkeeping, marketing, advertising and the recruitment and education of associates to establish and follow a profitable business plan.

Maggie is a current member of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB), Vice Chairman of Professional Standards Committee at The Miami Association of Realtors, a Certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator, a member of The Master Brokers Forum, Florida Realtors Professional Standards Forum, Risk Management Committee, and Steering Committee Member for Broker Manager Forum. She currently resides in Miami, Florida.
