MIAMI BEACH, FL (July 2016) – Douglas Elliman today announced the official opening of the firm’s 17th office in South Florida, located at Murano at Portofino on the southern-most tip of Miami Beach. Recognized as the first subdivision of Miami Beach to ever be developed, the elite South of Fifth neighborhood where the office is located, features numerous high-rise condos along the Atlantic selling at record prices, dozens of world-renown restaurants and all of the classic glamour of the “original” Miami Beach. The opening marks the continued expansion for the brokerage both regionally and nationally, bringing the total number of offices to approximately 81 across the nation.

The new Miami Beach office will be spearhead by the regions managing broker, Tom Bryan. With over 28 years of real estate and marketing experience, Tom is widely recognized in the industry for his proven track record of unparalleled revenue growth and management skills. Tom currently manages four Miami offices for Douglas Elliman, and has previous experience in both Washington, D.C. as well as New York City. While working in Washington D.C. Tom grew the office he managed from 56 to 155 agents, driving annual transactions from 600 to more than 1,300, and achieving a sales volume of $1.2 billion. He capped his career at his previous firm as manager of the Mid-Atlantic Operating Division, growing the territory from three states to nine and bringing the division up from its eighth place ranking to being the second most profitable division nationally.
