Sam Sullivan has always called New York City home, and he knows it well. As a third generation Manhattanite, he is intimately familiar with the different neighborhoods and what gives each its own distinct personality. Sam, who carefully follows real estate trends and conditions, encourages his clients to analyze comparable properties and gain an understanding of the current market. Patient, empathetic and enthusiastic about his work, he offers guidance without being pushy. Integrity is essential to Sam and every client is treated honorably and fairly. “I’ve learned through personal experience that it’s imperative to educate one’s clients so that they can make informed decisions which they won’t regret.”
Sam specializes in discovering unique properties for a broad cliental in a variety of fields from creative to corporate, and has been especially successful working with the art community and its distinctive requirements. Discretion is understood. He manages a multi-unit rental building on the Upper West Side, giving him a unique perspective and hands-on experience useful to any investment buyer. From lofts, townhouses and the most prestigious buildings in New York to that rare find in a fringe neighborhood, Sam has an innate ability to zero in on a perfect match for his client. He has an excellent track record for buying low and selling high. Sam’s style is highly personal and clients may rest assured that their individual search is his top priority. Savvy, calm, and approachable, he believes the “real estate experience”, too often stressful, can instead be fun.
Sam is a graduate of the Claremont Colleges, New York University and the Culinary Institute of America. He worked for several top Manhattan chefs - among them Bobby Flay and Jonathan Waxman. Sam loves the outdoors and, when not working, can be found surfing or kayaking in summer or backcountry snowboarding in winter. He’s a big supporter of animal shelters and, in his free time can be found in Central Park, playing fetch with his own two rescue dogs
