Toby Obstfeld

Toby Obstfeld began accumulating her wealth of knowledge in 1998 when she began her real estate career at a real estate consulting firm for residential and commercial major capital improvements. She next served as an executive assistant to the CEO of a mortgage banker responsible for licensing and compliance in all 50 states.

As project manager of Hello, a six-building development in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, Toby oversaw every detail of the undertaking from the drawing board to closing. She additionally sold high-end new developments in Park Slope and Prospect Heights, as well as studios and one- and two-bedrooms in Tudor City.

Prior to joining Prudential Douglas Elliman, Toby owned and operated her own real estate brokerage firm. Well known in the industry, and in her everyday life, for her honesty and integrity, she is as knowledgeable as she is respected for her honorable dealings. Clients find her extremely easy to engage in conversation, and deeply appreciate the time she takes to explain their options so they make the best real estate decisions.

A native New Yorker, Toby grew up in Brooklyn and Manhattan so she knows the city extremely well from both personal and professional perspectives. Currently, she resides on Central Park South. Toby holds a Business and Finance degree from Touro College. She spent a year studying Jewish philosophy and theology, plus traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Toby’s family is very proud to be part of Chai Lifeline, a cancer organization that caters to children with cancer as well as lifetime illnesses, where she has served as a volunteer for many years.
