Alex Bouganim

A member of the Josh Winston Team at Douglas Elliman, Alex has a strong background in many facets of real estate. With his family owners and operators of apartment buildings in Brooklyn for 20+ years, he has dealt with virtually every aspect of building management. Additionally as an agent he’s represented hundreds of happy clients on the buy and the sell side, as well as having experience with multi-million dollar sales and acquisitions.

His success stems from his thoroughness as well as his seasoned knowledge. “I do my homework on a client and interpret what they’re looking for- from budget to location to the must haves. I then plan a course of action within the current market, maintaining some flexibility and seizing on opportunities that come our way. Alex is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. He currently resides in Gramercy Park in Manhattan. In addition to being a licensed real estate salesperson in NY, he is a licensed Public Adjuster, and owns an inventory company that lists, documents and values all home goods destroyed during an insurance loss.

Personally, Alex has a great love for nature and animals. He additionally loves music, travel, and lives an active lifestyle playing sports, swimming and scuba diving.
