Bronwyn helped put numerous properties into contract within the last 6 months. There is no better real estate agent to market your property.
“It’s funny because I think I’ve been preparing for this job my entire life and I truly love what I do. I threw a birthday party at age 10 in a neighborhood near where I grew up in Atlanta and tried to convince my parents to invest there (If only they listened to me as values have gone up ten fold!).
Bronwyn draws on her marketing background and strong experience working with people to facilitate finding the best home and business environment for each real estate client. She loves to envision the potential in a space and match it with the perfect owner or resident.
"I will not stop until I find my client what they are looking for whether it’s a new home, new building for their business or a buyer or investor that will be the next steward of their property," she says. "I work hard on maintaining great relationships with sellers, buyers and other real estate professionals. I worked at a high-end retailer in high school and I think that ingrained a level of customer service and professionalism that I still use everyday.”
Real estate has been a lifelong passion for Bronwyn, who found houses for her parents and friends before she ultimately decided to get her New York real estate salesperson license. Within the first few months of starting her business, she closed an impressive number of deals and then went on to quickly become an agent mentor. She has transitioned from rentals to sales and from Corcoran to Douglas Elliman where she is working alongside her husband Grant Cooper and under manager, Chris Peters at the 111 5th Avenue office in Flatiron.
Born in Atlanta, Bronwyn grew up in Druid Hills which was one of Frederick Law Olmsted’s last commissions.
“I think growing up in a beautiful, historic home in a landmarked neighborhood with great design and having an art historian mother taught me how transformative architecture, design and your surroundings can be.”
Bronwyn attended The Paideia School in Atlanta while also spending a large part of her childhood in London as her family shared a house in Mayfair. For university, Bronwyn matriculated to Davidson College in North Carolina before receiving a scholarship to transfer to the University of Georgia in Athens (Go Dawgs!). There she managed marketing and events for 90.5 FM WUOG in Athens, GA and was also a radio disc jockey. She graduated early with double majors in Sociology and Film Studies. She also prepared herself for the NYC hustle by also managing to study abroad at St. Johns University in Paris and completing a work study program at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Ever the hard worker, Bronwyn got her first job in entertainment marketing while still in school, working for recording studios and a film studio. She continued in this capacity post graduation which brought her to NYC, San Francisco and back to NYC.
Unfortunately, Bronwyn suffered from an autoimmune problem that became severe in her 20s. After discovering she was suffering from an allergy to corn products, it prompted her to leave her marketing job and devote more time to nutrition and health. She received her Health Coaching Certification and coached clients from her home. Once Bronwyn regained her health 6 years ago, she decided to take the plunge into real estate and hasn’t looked back.
Bronwyn has lived in Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Midtown Manhattan and the Upper West Side since settling in New York over eleven years ago. She also develops property with her husband in Jacksonville, Florida where she has family.
In her rare off hours, Bronwyn does yoga and meditation and is picking up tennis and climbing. Her other hobbies include making bags, creating home decor fabrics with natural dyes, world travel, taking excursions upstate and always exploring new shops and restaurants in NYC. Ask her about allergy-friendly restaurants and where to find the best Italian meal, she has recommendations all over the city.
