all the aspects of real estate from a young age. She then proceeded to invest in and
manage her own properties, buying ,developing and selling them for the last 20 + years .
Rita knows a great deal about the market value, the ins and outs of transactions,and what
makes a property special. She is highly in -tuned to a customer's needs, and follows their

visits/examines the property to offer the most accurate perspective. her decades of

in all price ranges. prior to joining Douglas Elliman , she was the vice president of Barsouv
Home C enter, specializing in antiques, home accessories and textile. For the last two
decades Rita has also done ventures in Brazil as well as real estate investments and
transactions in NYC . Plus she has engaged in selling family estate with Sotheby's and
Christies's Auction Houses.
Her very diverse lifestyle led Rita to live in several countries already before age 13 when her
family settled in NY. Her love for international cultures , cuisines and languages drove her to
major in languages in college. Rita speaks fluent in French, Hebrew, Farsi, Spanish and
English. and converses in Portuguese and Arabic.
