As a second generation Mortgage Banker, Steve’s experience in sales is sculpted through decades of real estate financing scenarios. He was exposed to the mortgage business at a young age as an assistant to his father who is a top-producing Loan Officer, prior to becoming a Loan Officer himself. This experience has given him a great understanding of what his clients want, and a unique ability to listen and connect with everyone he speaks to.
Although he built a successful mortgage career throughout the years, Steve was very passionate about getting into real estate. His deep love of being of service and strong knowledge of the industry made the transition a natural one. “Now rather than working with clients to obtain financing, I’m on the other side assisting with every detail of securing homes and investment properties, which is very rewarding.”
Steve focuses on building lifelong relationships with clients, and providing a premier level of white-glove service and professionalism throughout the process. As one who has dealt with high-stress environments his entire career, he believes the most important thing is making others feel comfortable and being available for them 24/7. Truly a people person, he will go to great lengths to ensure that all parties are happy, and that he gets the job done well.
Originally from Astoria, Queens, unarguably one of the most diverse neighborhoods in NYC, Steve has enjoyed interacting with those of various cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. He is a member of several Greek social clubs, and is a Greek folk musician who plays music from the island of Crete. Music has taught him patience, dedication, determination, and bringing people together – all values he upholds in both his professional and personal life. Meeting new people, traveling, and exploring the great restaurants NYC has to offer are also his favorite things.
