A seasoned professional with a diverse range of experience, John Lawrence started his career in real estate in 1988, making his first sale his first day in business; a top agent with MSK Consolidated within three months, he moved on to Warnick Capital, where he was again the top agent in buying, selling and renovating foreclosures. After selling over 75 townhouses and brownstones, he moved on to Bellmarc where he oversaw the opening of multiple divisions in sales and rentals, creating a dynamic super-office under his direction.
Recruited personally by Douglas Elliman’s Dottie Herman in 2006, John was followed by over 50 brokers and agents and has concurrently managed three offices for the company, opening the firm’s Riverdale office, and overseeing over 2 billion in sales annually. His skills in managing large scale projects, diverse work schedules and a wide range of communication needs inspired a partnership with leading agent Joe Peraino. The two formed the Peraino & Lawrence Team in 2020 to merge sales skills and support strategies into a dynamic office.
