Stephen’s entire professional career has centered around two things: making the city he loves a better place to live and fighting for his clients’ interests. Whether buyer, seller, renter or landlord, Stephen uses his keen market knowledge to ensure that his clients are always achieving the best possible result. Whether the transaction involves a studio apartment or a multi-million dollar home, Stephen treats each and every deal as though it is the only deal, providing his clients with unparalleled communication and customer service.
As a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and living in the West Village for over 17 years, Stephen has an intimate and nuanced knowledge of both the uptown and downtown markets as well as unique knowledge of what it is truly like to live in this dynamic and fast-moving city.
After practicing law for over 12 years in New York City, first as a New York City prosecutor, and then as a commercial litigator in a boutique litigation firm in Lower Manhattan, Stephen leverages his well-honed negotiation prowess and overall legal background in each and every transaction to the benefit of all his clients. He is a tireless advocate for his clients and recognizes that the purchase and sale of real estate is often the single most important business/financial transaction in one’s life and therefore must be handled with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
Stephen also keenly understands that while the purchase and sale of real estate is indeed a business transaction, it is also intensely personal and emotional and therefore needs to be treated with tremendous care. Stephen’s work-ethic, dedication, loyalty and attention to detail are the cornerstones of his business ethos and enable him to ensure that his clients’ needs are always met, day or night.
When not working, Stephen can usually be found on the East End of Long Island where he enjoys entertaining friends and family and spending his fall Saturdays rooting for his beloved Michigan Wolverines.
