Janine Dobie

Janine Dobie comes to Douglas-Elliman after working as an Agent with Halstead Brooklyn, LLC. (See Streeteasy.com for her Past Rentals and Sales) She is a retired teacher/school administrator who has chosen Real Estate as a second career. With both a Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA in Information Systems Analysis, she prides herself in her ability to pay keen attention to detail, and to tenaciously walk her clients through their deals from start to finish.
Working as a classroom teacher for many years served as valuable experience she has been able to transfer to her Real Estate skill set. Researching, reporting, and presenting information to clients in a way that empowers them with everything they need to comfortably and confidently make life-changing decisions. She sees her ability to de-stress the process of buying, selling, renting, and moving for her clients, as one of her greatest assets.

Janine lived in Fort Greene Brooklyn from 1990-2002 as a renter before purchasing a town home in Stuyvesant Heights Brooklyn in 2002, adding Property Management, and Renovation, to her repertoire.
Her hobbies include traveling, singing, gardening, cooking, and working out.
