Born and raised in Venezuela, John attended Santa Monica Community College in Los Angeles as well as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He additionally studied speech patterns with one of the nation’s top coaches. New York City has been his home for the past 18 years, and he currently lives in Harlem.
