Monica Breese has enjoyed a high level of achievement in a diversity of capacities that have shaped her business and market savvy. In the real estate arena, she has managed her personal property investments in Manhattan, Westchester and Florida, plus negotiated and closed complex commercial real estate deals for over a decade, both as a representative for a cadre of developers, and as an owner of industrial property in Long Island City. Also during this time, Monica has successfully launched contemporary fashion collections, and serves as managing partner in her family-owned elevator manufacturing company.
She is uniquely skilled at understanding an otherwise nebulous set of competing constraints and stakeholders, and then weaving them into a single narrative for her clients that makes sense and inspires decisions. Never one to shy away from direct communication, Monica is plain spoken and cuts through the noise to deliver her clientele relevant, actionable, and unbiased information. Her unabashed communication style has earned her the implicit and explicit trust of her network of investors and developers of residential, commercial and industrial space.
Extremely well-versed in moving properties on and off market, Monica has personally and professionally negotiated transactions in many of NYC’s most popular neighborhoods, and perhaps more importantly, in the lesser-known ones as well. Handling transactions from seven to nine figures with expertise, Monica has played key roles to facilitate closed deals, maximizing value for all parties involved. Since earning Rookie of the Year in 2014, she has excelled in brokerage and satisfying the needs of her clients.
Monica attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and lives with her loving husband and two young boys in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. When not working, you can often find her helping her sons with their homework in Mandarin Chinese (even though she’s only fluent in English and Spanish), endeavoring to finish that second book a week, gardening on her rooftop farm in Long Island City, travelling to a far-flung destination with the boys in tow, or simply taking a class at her local gym.
