A highly experienced mediator and negotiator, Leah has acquired seasoned skills and market knowledge as an investor, owner, landlord and real estate agent for 25 years. Being very focused and goal-oriented, she believes buying or selling real estate requires great persistence as well as staunch advocacy that focuses on the client, not the agent.
Her unique approach and business savvy have earned Leah many accolades including top-producing high-end sales agent in 2017, plus a nomination for NYU Alumni Changemaker 2019. “Know your market, work ethically, price smart, find value, be creative,” she says. “These tenets are the foundation of success in my real estate practice.”
A lifelong New York resident, Leah received a B.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master’s in Real Estate Development and Finance from New York University. She holds a NY real estate salesperson license, and formerly held Series 7 and 63 licenses. Her previous experience in business development and finance enables her to foster relationships built on trust and to network quickly.
Leah is comfortable selling properties of all kinds in all Manhattan neighborhoods and willing to find off-market properties to ensure clients the best opportunities. In her quest to educate buyers and sellers, she provides a practical analysis of the market and comparable properties to help them make the most informed decisions.
In addition to REBNY, Leah is a member of Small Property Owners of NY, Johns Hopkins & NYU Alumni Associations, 100 Women in Finance, and The Parents League of NY. She adores her children, is a big NY sports fan, and has done extensive philanthropy. Leah is a Benefactor for the Columbia Business School’s “Business Fund” that provides seed capital for new programs and initiatives; plus she’s been an active fundraiser for the Annual Fund in NYC independent schools for the past eight years with 100% of donation goals met.
