About James

James Rhodes has lived and worked in New York City for almost thirty years, so he knows the city both personally and professionally. Currently he’s a resident in one of the hottest up and coming downtown neighborhoods, The Financial District (FiDi). Very active in the community, he serves as a Condominium Board Member and Treasurer, also as a Finance Committee Member and Color Guard Captain for the Sons of the Revolution at Fraunces Tavern, the city’s oldest building.

A Wall Street veteran, Jim has over twenty years experience as a senior investment strategist advising retail and institutional clients. As both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT), he has a deep knowledge of financial markets and investment strategy, including both residential and commercial real estate valuation and portfolio management. Highly quantitative, with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a history of providing thought leadership, he’s well respected by industry peers for a strong intellect, creativity, integrity, and for being a team player with the ability to get the job done.

Jim graduated with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA in Finance and an MS in Statistics from New York University. He’s a member of the Wharton Alumni Club of New York, where he’s both the Business Development Group Chairman and Director of Membership Benefits. He plays postal chess and was the US Chess Federation Golden Knights Champion in 2008.
