About Sandra

Native New Yorker Sandra Ripert can tell you quite honestly that she not only knows how to live the good life in Manhattan, but works to make life better for all New Yorkers. After starting her Wall Street career in 1986, Sandra went on to found a public relations company that organized special events throughout Manhattan. She loves the city, and participates in different charity events that help make it a great place to live and work.

Driven by her deep love of New York City, Sandra has worked on behalf of City Harvest for decades – repacking food for distribution, rescuing food at the Union Square Greenmarket and volunteering at Mobile Markets throughout the city to raise awareness of food insecurity and help feed New Yorkers in need. To this day she continues to inspire friends and family who are looking to give back to the city she loves. She also takes special pride in being the "restaurant connoisseur" and the Cultural Attaché at Le Bernardin Restaurant, that her husband Chef Eric Ripert owns and operates.

Having lived on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Downtown, Sandra knows the
market and neighborhoods well. Drawn to real estate, she joined Douglas Elliman 2001, transitioning her sales and trading abilities to real estate sales upon leaving her former role at JPMorgan as an Equity Sales Trader. Her keen research and negotiating skills allow her to hone in on the best residential properties and investment opportunities for her clients.

Educating people is key, she believes. "Comparative market analysis reports are crucial to informing sellers and pricing their homes properly. Buyers also need CMA reports when making a purchase or putting in a bid for a new home as it gives them a good gauge. This data is essential for anyone making real estate decisions.”

Sandra has built and maintained effective relationships with her clients and friends, and takes pride that they respect her advice.
