John's first year at Douglas Elliman saw him begin with a $3,000 rental client to showing multi-million dollar homes on a daily basis. He spent his first six months in New York City Real Estate without making one dollar and now with eight years of experience, John is excited to continue his work at DE. John completed over 130 transactions in his first five years of Real Estate with a keen eye for the Manhattan townhouse market while also working on condominiums, co-ops and rentals.
John has worked with two top team's in the city, consistently ranking on Wall Street Journal's Real Trends Top Brokers. Being born and raised in New York City from two third generation Brooklyn families, Real Estate and Baseball have always been John’s passion. Real Estate came from his Grandfather who owned and managed a multifamily portfolio in Brooklyn. Baseball from his other Grandfather 'Lefty' Keenan who played professionally with the Brooklyn Dodgers. John inherited his left arm and pitched for Xaverian High School’s City Championship team of 2008, ranked #20 in the nation. He went on to pitch for Manhattanville College where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
Within his eight years at Douglas Elliman John has acquired invaluable knowledge in real estate brokerage as well as property management and development. John works to manage investment properties throughout Brooklyn and recently started his own development company with his first project underway in Bedford-Stuyvesant. John understands how demanding the search for the perfect property can be, and takes the utmost pride in seeing his clients through the finish line.
