Whether a condo in Chelsea or a coop on the Upper East Side, Madelyn does her due diligence to achieve optimal success for her clients. Her “Carpe Diem” philosophy enables her to immediately recognize valuable opportunities and aggressively turn them into realities for buyers and sellers alike. Yet Madelyn is equally sensitive and intuitive during this time of great emotional and financial commitment, so does all she can to make the process both fulfilling and rewarding for everyone involved. Prior to entering real estate, Madelyn enjoyed a successful career as an Educator and Reading Specialist in the New York City Public School system. She brings the same openness, dedication and integrity to real estate, which are key components not only in facilitating an effective deal, but in forming lasting working relationships. Extremely well skilled at disseminating information to others, Madelyn is also able to understand the real estate market through her “critical lens” and all the while keeps clients highly informed about the conditions of the market that could affect their purchase or sale. Educated at the University of Wisconsin and New York University, Madelyn earned her B.S. and M.S. in Early Childhood along with a certification as a Reading Specialist. She first honed her craft at a prestigious Upper East Side private school, and then with at-risk inner city students in several East Village public schools. A Manhattan resident for over 30 years, she relates to people of all kinds and has cultivated many diverse interests which include opera, the New York Philharmonic, art museums, and of course great food and wine. Madelyn has a close coterie of friends with whom she enjoys socializing and entertaining when time allows.
