Arthur Maglio is Co-Head of The Maglio + Shuster + Zisholtz Commercial Team. Mr. Maglio is known for his strong work discipline and careful research about neighborhoods and businesses, from Lower Manhattan to Washington Heights and throughout the boroughs.
Since joining Douglas Elliman in 2006, Mr. Maglio's practice has expanded to working with prolific retailers and restaurants on their first New York location to representing some of the city’s most prominent Landlords with the leasing of their retail, hospitality and office space. Recent transactions include Torien in Nolita, Ben’s Garden in SoHo, The Daily Edited in the West Village, Debutea in Greenwich Village, ETC Eatery in Midtown, Morton Williams on the Upper East Side, and Scotch & Soda on the Upper West Side.
As an expert on Upper Manhattan retail with intimate knowledge of the market, Mr. Maglio has secured space for tenants in Harlem and Washington Heights for a variety of sectors including restaurants such as Field Trip by J.J. Johnson and La Salle Dumpling Room, banks such as Capital One and Wells Fargo, medical facilities such as CityMD and Tribeca Pediatrics, non-profit agencies such as Children’s Aid Society and Food Bank For New York City, government institutions such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Mr. Maglio earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
