About Arthur

Arthur Maglio is a seasoned real estate professional and trusted advisor that has spent 15 years working throughout New York City. Since joining Douglas Elliman in 2006, he has assisted several prolific retailers and restaurants in securing their first New York location and expanding throughout the market. He has also worked with some of the city’s most prominent developers and landlords including Madison Realty Capital and Kensico Properties, successfully leasing their retail, office, restaurant and hospitality space.

Recent restaurant and hospitality transactions include Torien in Nolita, a NYC offshoot by Yakitori legend Yoshiteru Ikegawa of his Michelin-starred Torishiki in Japan; multiple locations for Fieldtrip, a conscious and upscale fast-casual restaurant by James Beard Award winning Chef JJ Johnson; The Lavaux in the West Village, a Swiss wine and fondue bar highlighting essential flavors of wine and cheese from the Lavaux region of Switzerland.

On magnificent Madison Avenue recent transactions include Carmina, a luxury shoemaker from Spain; and Fivestory, a luxe women’s boutique offering iconic one-of-a-kind pieces from Chanel to Yves Saint Laurent.

In SoHo, recent transactions include SERHANT, a real estate headquarters by real estate mogul Ryan Serhant; and Ben’s Garden, a home goods store offering a captivating collection of high quality decoupage, photo frames, garden, gifts & charm from New York.

As an expert on Upper Manhattan with intimate knowledge of the market, Mr. Maglio has secured space for tenants in Harlem and Washington Heights for a variety of sectors including banks such as Capital One and Wells Fargo, medical facilities such as CityMD and Tribeca Pediatrics, non-profit agencies such as Children’s Aid Society and Food Bank For New York City, government institutions such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and restaurants such as Cantina and La Salle Dumpling Room.

Mr. Maglio earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
