Carol got the "Real Estate Bug" at the age of 9. She watched her father negotiate deals, purchase properties and manage his RE portfolio in Philadelphia where she was born.
It was inevitable that RE would become part of her life.

She graduated from Rowan University with a business degree, she earned her AAS in applied Science at FIT in order to pursue one of her passions-fashion.
As a buyer, Carol worked for the most prestigious retailers in Manhattan -- Barney's New York, Bergdorf Goodman & Macy's Herald Square. After transitioning to the sales side--- she became the #1 salesperson in her showroom and was promoted to showroom manager.

Carol attended The New York School of Interior Design and decided to purchase and flip homes.

Her projects included properties in such diverse places as Key West, FL, Westport CT, Westchester, NY and Rhinebeck, NY in the Hudson
Valley to name a few.
Her discriminating eye for detail allowed her to restore everything from farmhouses dating back to the late 1700's, historic carriage homes from the 1850's, mid-century modern homes and pre & post war apartments. Due to her unique skill set--an expert negotiator, 30 years of real estate sales experience and first-hand knowledge of interior design and architecture, Carol became the consummate real estate advisor.

Carol is fortunate enough to work with her best friend, husband, and broker, Patrick Hellwig who adds his own personal skill set and business acumen. In both business and their personal lives they make an excellent team.
She and her husband Patrick reside on the Upper East Side and travel to their Fort Lauderdale home to assist their Manhattan clients find homes in Florida.

In her spare time, Carol focuses on her other passions-- food and wine. As a culinary enthusiast, she attended cooking classes on agrio-tours in Italy and was the First-Place winner of a national cooking contest sponsored by All Clad cookware and The Gourmet Garage. Whether making homemade pasta, baking biscotti or creating interesting toppings for her artisanal pizza, Carol finds cooking very relaxing.
