Melissa understands the importance of top notch client service, and works to master her craft with the most thorough knowledge of the market, keen analytical skills and trusting relationships with her clients.
After graduating from Colgate University in 2005, Melissa jumped right into her life in Manhattan as a client relationship associate working for the private wealth management group at the former US Trust Company. Acting as the daily liaison, Melissa forged strong relationships with the clients themselves, their family offices and all others involved in their day to day life and she honed her organizational skills to best accommodate all of their intricate needs. During her time there she was exposed to many different facets of investment and was particularly interested in her clients’ real estate acquisitions. With a family passion for real estate, Melissa finally decided to take the step into the Manhattan market.
Melissa began working as an assistant to NYC’s first certified eco-broker where she quickly took on most of the responsibility from scheduling, conducting showings and creating team and property marketing to learning much about the ever-expanding green building movement in NYC. With her involvement in the green new development The Riverhouse in Battery Park City and the booming New Development market Melissa decided to expand her knowledge of the field and moved to Douglas Elliman’s New Development team where she worked on-site at 254 Park Avenue South. During her time there Melissa mastered the intricacies of new development processes; she handled numerous appointments each day, attended weekly meetings with the developers, was part of the marketing initiatives for the project and handled all the day to day office coordinating.
Melissa now calls the Anderson-Ehrmann Team her home. She prides herself on her honesty and integrity no matter what she is faced with and always strives for perfection for herself, the team and her clients.
