Gwynne Rees gives 200% to her work and her clients. She is highly knowledgeable about the housing inventory and real estate market and is a lifelong resident of Long Island which arms her with seasoned local expertise. “My specialty is in assessing property values, a service I offer for free with no obligation. I take the time to consult, assess my client’s needs, aspirations, and preferences, and find the home of their dreams.”
Gwynne’s love of real estate started when she was 18 years old after working as a secretary in commercial sales for a real estate company in Huntington. Years later, she entered the NYC Police Department and found a rewarding lifestyle by being involved with the public. Following 9/11, Gwynne retired as a detective after 21 years of service and found a career in finance. She was associated with clients investing in commercial properties, REITs, and 1031 Exchanges, honing her skills further.
Also, as a landlord for 18+ years, Gwynne can clearly and confidently share the principles, rules, and guidelines with her clients for their benefit. She believes in educating people on the market, listening to their needs, and keeping things organized to ensure seamless transactions. Clients appreciate Gwynne as a valuable partner in their purchase or sale experience and consider her to be extremely attentive, reliable, resourceful, and an excellent negotiator who can easily bring together a meeting of the minds.
Gwynne is currently an officer on the Board of Directors in the development where she lives. This affords her the chance to be an integral part of the daily activities, shareholders' concerns, questions, and details to keep the community running smoothly. She has been part of major decisions concerning maintenance and improvements; and when it comes to contractors, landscapers, roofers, plumbers, electricians, and others, has the connections and the insights to help any potential buyer ease their stress. “It’s always important to me to get the job done right!”
In her free time, Gwynne enjoys playing golf, sometimes on a league, as well as attending her Tuesday night book club and writing club when she can fit it into her schedule.
