I believe that ours is an industry whose primary job is to provide informed service and real estate expertise, tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
I see my role as that of a consultant, rather than a commission-oriented salesman.
To that end, I work with a very limited number of clients, so that I can focus my full attention, time and abilities on their unique situation, personally involving myself in all aspects of their transactions, be they buyers or sellers.
Areas of Expertise
My specialty is residential sales and purchase, and I have made myself knowledgeable in all aspects of Westchester housing, from construction to zoning and wetland regulations, to septic and well issues, and everything in between. I am also an experienced commercial associate broker.
I pride myself on my attention to detail in performing the due diligence that is the hallmark of my real estate practice.
Moreover, if I don't know the immediate answer to a question, I know where to find it, as I have gone out of my way to develop expert sources in all areas of this industry.
I spent over 25 years in broadcast journalism, working nationally and internationally for ABC News in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
Born in Michigan, I have lived in Chicago, Tel Aviv, Paris and New York City, before moving to Westchester County in the late 80's.
In my years covering the news, I worked, at one time or another, in 53 countries, covering wars and weddings, floods and festivals, the fall of one government and the rise of another.
It is a perspective that makes me very grateful to be able to live with my friends and family in the setting my area provides, and makes me proud to represent it to my clients.
I am a firm believer in Warren Buffet's axiom that you are of the most value, and have your best success, when you stay within your area of knowledge.
