As a former psychologist, Kathy learned to think on her feet and to problem solve no matter what the challenge. Today, on Long Island's north shore, Kathy applies these skills in her 16 years as a realtor. Says Kathy, "There's a lot of psychology in the real estate business and my experience as a psychologist has served me well."
"It's important to be professional and to know your business because buyers and sellers are relying upon you during one of the biggest transactions in their lives," Kathy says. "I believe it's imperative to stay cutting edge by constantly improving my skills and making it a point to know the local trends. I believe very much that you must bring value to your clients."
Kathy's real estate business is over 95% by referral. "To me, it's personal. Whenever someone refers a family member, friend or colleague to me, I want to do the very best I can," says Kathy.
Kathy has long been a dedicated martial artist. "If you know me, you know the passion I feel for martial arts and it has served me well. It plays a central role in my life for my physical, mental and spiritual well-being," she concedes.
Community service is central to Kathy's life. The communities of Port Washington and Manhasset are vibrant, active towns that give her opportunities to be involved every day.
