A litigator in New York City for almost 20 years, Elisa Brickell has a background working on complex cases that included contract, construction, business, insurance and real estate disputes. Her numerous successes were built not only on the strong relationships she developed with her clients and colleagues, but on her trustworthiness, impressive skills and valuable qualities that carry over in her real estate career. Among them are her ability to carefully listen and promptly respond to clients, her accessibility and can-do attitude, thorough preparation, keen attention to detail, meticulous presentation, and persuasive negotiating. Client advocacy, clear, precise communication, and a high level of professionalism are also key elements of her unique service approach.
Now, as a real estate agent with Douglas Elliman, Elisa continues to remain adept at handling any kind of challenge, identifying what needs to be done and following through to a smooth conclusion. She intimately understands the legal and financial intricacies involved in a real estate transaction, enabling her to navigate clients through the entire buying and selling process from the first meeting through closing. She is committed to providing her clients with "the kind of attention, rewarding personal experience, comfort and confidence they deserve.”
Elisa, her husband and her two now-grown children lived in Briarcliff Manor for eighteen years and established deep roots there, staying active in local school and community-based organizations. In 2014, the couple downsized to a house in a Homeowners Association community in the heart of Armonk, where Elisa was elected to the Board of Directors and subsequently served as its President for two years. She continues on as a Board member, making vital contributions to the community.
A career in real estate has been a natural progression for Elisa, given her passion for architecture, landscape and interior design, as well as home renovation, and her enjoyment in working with others. She loves helping her clients fulfill their dreams, whether that entails purchasing their first home, buying a “country retreat” or selling their home and starting the next chapter in their life story.
Elisa graduated from New York University with a B.A. degree in Political Science and earned her J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law. Her professional affiliations and memberships include the New York State Bar Association, New York State Association of Realtors, Inc., National Association of Realtors, Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service.
