Initially a premed student, Dalia went on to complete MBA and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Psychology, with a minor degree in Math. Her entrepreneurial spirit first appeared at age 16, when she established and managed a wholesale jewellery (gold and diamonds) business. her knowledge and love of math eventually led her to the banking industry where she managed client accounts, as well as the foreign currency exchange in international banking.
