About Tinko

As a child of first-generation immigrants with limited opportunities, Tinko realized early that education is key to the American dream of homeownership.

“As a teacher, I know the virtues of knowledge and education. That’s why I love working with first-time home buyers.” As a real estate salesperson, I can arm my clients with knowledge so they can make clean, informed decisions.”

A native of New York City for over 40 years, Tinko understands the intangible yet discernible benefits of living “In the city” and “On the Island”. He grew up in Queens, attended high school in the Bronx, received his Bachelor’s in accounting, finance and MIS upstate before returning to Manhattan to work on the equity trading floor of Credit Suisse for 4 years. Eventually he would move on to VP of fixed income bond pricing for IHS Markit. In 2012, Tinko indulged his entrepreneurial spirit and partnered with Pearson Learning and CampusCruiser to start his own online adaptive learning company before jumping into real estate.

Today, Tinko showcases homes on his website and works alongside a team of trusted agents and service providers: photographers, videographers, stagers, repairmen, designers, and inspectors. He is attentive to detail, engaging, honest, and reliable – and your friend every step of the way.

In 2021, Tinko purchased a home in Dix Hills, NY where he lives with his wife and three-year-old son JJ.

“When I’m not helping clients find their dream home, you can find me sprawled out on the couch with a glass of wine binge watching re-runs of Seinfeld.”

He also fills his time enjoying nature walks in Otsego Park, vacationing to Taipei, and volunteering to teach SAT/ACT online to children of underprivileged families.

Tinko is truly invested in the NYC and Long Island region. His experience and local roots are an asset to both buyers and sellers.
