About Randi
Raised in the Syosset/Woodbury area, as the daughter of Long Island real estate developers and NYC landlords, Randi was naturally drawn to real estate. From growing up on job sites and attending weekly open houses as a family activity to relocating throughout the area as her family grew, Randi has acquired a unique wealth of first-hand knowledge and can relate to both buyers and sellers alike.
After graduating from Syosset High School, Randi earned a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst then returned to New York to establish a career in advertising. She diligently used her time as a Media Buyer in Manhattan to sharpen her negotiation skills and pursue new business opportunities while learning the importance of maintaining valuable relationships throughout her four years there. Randi’s creative drive and determination led her to obtain her Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management graduating from LIM College in Manhattan in 2014. Thereafter, Randi gained valuable experience as a Visual Merchandiser for Macy’s where she was able to interact more with her customers and flex her creative side while designing and building visual displays to create a more interactive in-store experience. Randi also spent some time living in St. Kitts during which she launched her own jewelry design business called Beads By Randi. Through this business venture, she has attained valuable expertise marketing and selling both in person and using tools such as social media as a platform to market and sell online.
Randi has since settled back in the area to raise a family of her own with her husband and their two bulldogs, Frankie and Billy. Randi’s deep-rooted passion for real estate was reignited while purchasing her family home. This has led her to pursue a career in the real estate field, embracing her creative thinking and positive outlook while using the skills she acquired along the way to build a successful future as an agent with Douglas Elliman.
