Michelle Hellem has been in the real estate business on Long Island for nearly 20 years, helping clients make important lifestyle and investment decision with the confidence and guidance they need. She draws on her extensive industry knowledge, market expertise, and broad experience in brokerage sales, ownership and management roles to bring the same stellar support to her agents as the Branch Manager of Douglas Elliman's East Islip office.
Michelle's focus is to continue to raise the bar on the level of service and results her office provides. She strives to foster a collaborative environment, coaching and mentoring agents on all aspects of real estate so they achieve their full potential and grow their business with success.
A lifelong resident of Long Island's South Shore, Michelle has excelled as a top sales and listing agent and been an in integral part of her local community. Her keen understanding of the complexities of the real estate market and her consumer and agent-centric philosophy are effective and inspiring.
Michelle discovered her passion for being around positive environments and making people happy while pursing studies in Special Ed and then nursing. Her true calling was in real estate, however, a career she has enjoyed and thrived in for two decades. Michelle personally owns investment properties because she believes that real estate is the best and safest investment there is. She lives in and owns the home across the street from where she grew up in, and is proud to volunteer and fundraises for local causes whenever she can.
