Janine Karnig

Founding her own art advisory firm, Janine was recruited by Douglas Elliman to handle architecturally important properties. She brings over 20 years experience in the acquisition and deaccession of artwork on behalf of her private and corporate clientele.

Janine is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. She received her master’s degree in the History of Decorative Arts from the Smithsonian Institution in New York, NY.

Janine lives and works in both Southampton and Manhattan.
