Extremely active in the community, Sam has been involved in high school athletics for many years, and is currently a Pleasantville High School football official. He is also a member of the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department, the White Plains Lodge of Masons, the Mecca Temple Shiners, and the Connecticut Fife & Drum Corps, as well as a past President of the Antique Fire Truck Association.
