The hamlet of Farmingville in the town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, Long Island is home to about 17,000 people. Shopping is readily accessible at the malls and big box stores of nearby Centereach. The Bald Hill Cultural Center is home to the outdoor Brookhaven Amphitheater where popular bands and other recording artists regularly perform.
Farmingville is served by the Long Island Railroad station in nearby Ronkonkoma. Long Island MacArthur airport is a short distance away in Islip. The Long Island Expressway is nearby, making the trip by car to just about anywhere on or off the island a convenient undertaking.
