South Beach’s Historic ‘Shore Park Hotel’ Building Available for $45M

By Grace Cassidy

An historic Art Deco-style hotel building in Miami’s South Beach is on the market. Douglas Elliman’s Ana Viyella and Sam Gaita have listed the property for $45 million.

Located at 820 Ocean Drive and currently home to the Beach Park Hotel, the mixed-use building dates back to 1929, when it was known as the Shore Park Hotel, and still bears the original occupant’s name.

A popular local attraction, the property also includes a 5,000-square-foot restaurant space currently occupied by Larios on the Beach, the Cuban kitchen and cocktail bar owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

The second floor features multiple private dining rooms and offices, while seven brand-new, fully furnished rental apartments occupy the third floor.

Stunning mosaics are found throughout the building, as well as arched and curved details, wide windows, and beautiful contemporary features that bring the space into the 21st century.
