One of the wonderful things about shopping in Manhattan is the constant reinvention. Just when you think you know a neighborhood and its stores, it changes. The Upper East Side is no exception. There’s almost too much to choose from, so Elliman Magazine has come up with our must-shop list by Sasha Charnin Morrison in the summer 2017 issue. Start on Museum Mile on Fifth Avenue, then stroll over to Madison Avenue and its environs, browsing these standout shops along the way.
1. FIVESTORY, 18 East 69th Street
Housed in a gorgeous townhouse, Claire Distenfeld’s fashion collective features established names as well as up-and-coming designers like Brandon Maxwell, Off White, Monse and Rosie Assoulin.
