As Chief Financial Officer for Douglas Elliman, Sal Troia has financial oversight responsibility for the company, directing all financial activities and operations including accounting, reporting, treasury, budget and planning.
Mr. Troia has over 25 years of experience in financial services in progressing roles. Sal started his career at Dean Witter and subsequently joined the accounting firm of Goldstein Golub Kessler (currently known as RSM) conducting financial statement audits for broker-dealers and hedge funds. Later joined the broker-dealer division of Guardian Life Insurance as the CFO and then RCS Capital Corp (NYSE listed company) and Cetera Financial Group as the Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Sal was the SVP of Finance at the Garden City Group, a legal administration firm.
Mr. Troia hold a BS in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
