The 73-acre Blowing Rocks preserve on Jupiter Island is a unique beach during high tide, water pours through holes along the limestone shoreline. Blowing Rocks is located on a barrier island sanctuary between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. There is also a nature trail and a butterfly garden.

Located just south of Stuart, this park teems with wildlife in 13 natural communities. The Loxahatchee River runs through the park, and ranger-guided tours of the 1930s pioneer homestead of Trapper Nelson are available year-round. Paved and off-road biking, equestrian and hiking trails and boating along the river are also great ways to see the park.
