Sobre Alexander

Xander Wilmerding began his real estate career in 2002 at the number one commercial real estate brokerage in South Florida. Finding quick success in the industry, Alexander knew he was ready for new challenges and, embracing his entrepreneurial spirit, launched his own brokerage just two years later. Today, he brings his clients a wealth of market knowledge, a penchant for innovative problem solving and a humility rarely seen in the competitive world of luxury real estate.

Visionary yet analytical, Xander has a passion for client engagement and consistently delivering results. His command of new technologies led to the creation of the first augmented reality app in Florida, the ability to define and track metrics to achieve the best possible outcomes for return on investment and ownership of his team’s goals and performance, positioning them for success time and again. His ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships further enhances his impressive skill set.

Xander leads his team initiatives in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Specialists in South Florida’s most sought-after waterfront communities, Xander and his team work around the clock for their clients, never losing sight of the nuances of the evolving market and supporting all critical phases of the real estate transaction in a hands-on and personalized manner.

Originally from New York, Xander spent summers along the coast of Maine, and moved to South Florida initially after graduating from Tulane University’s AB Freeman School of Business. After 10 years in Florida, he moved to Portland, OR to work with a technology start up before returning to the Miami area.

Xander hails from a long line of influential art collectors. His great, great grandfather, Henry Osborne Havemeyer, was an American industrialist and entrepreneur working in the sugar industry who, along with his wife Louisine, is credited as one of the earliest art collectors to bring the Impressionist movement to the U.S. His great grandmother carried on the family legacy, creating the renowned Shelburne Museum, which houses over 150,000 works of 19th and 20th century art that celebrates the American aesthetic. Today, Alexander continues the tradition of supporting the arts and enjoys staying connected to his community through a wide array of events and charitable endeavors, supporting local organizations focused on the arts, mental health and homelessness.
