Wendy Legum has lived and worked in Boca Raton for more than 37 years and has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of what makes South Florida a wonderful place to live. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a professional philosophy that is guided by the principles of integrity and transparency, Wendy’s clients’ needs are always her number one priority.
Prior to earning her real estate license in 2016, Wendy launched a debris and trash collection service for residential and commercial businesses known as Humpty Dumpster. This experience immersed her in the community and allowed her to become an expert on the new construction and development booming across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Westin and Fort Lauderdale. After many successful years operating the company, Wendy sold the business to Waste Management and set her sights on new professional opportunities. She then began working with community organizations and most recently, she served as the Vice President of Financial Resource Development at Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services.
Today, Wendy brings together her vast professional experience and her love of real estate to serve buyers, sellers and investors across the Boca Raton and Delray Beach areas. A resident of beautiful St. Andrews Country Club, she is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all the nuances and details necessary when considering luxury residential homes and country club communities.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Wendy earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from the University of Georgia. She is an active member of her community, has served on the Board of Ruth Rales Jewish Family Services for more than 12 years and has chaired many successful fundraising events. She enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible, especially her husband of 44 years, Wayne, two children and four grandchildren. A former Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier owner and breeder, she is an avid animal lover and advocate.
