Before choosing his career in the real estate industry, Larry completed his MBA degree at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Palo Alto, California. He has been a founder and principal of real estate brokerage firms and property development firms. He has also been a principal and senior level executive of such regional and national firms as Golub and Co., and Arthur Rubloff and Co. in Chicago, Illinois. His ability to develop unique and highly effective marketing for homes is honed by his experience in development, building, marketing and sales of luxury home communities, direct access ski-resort properties in Deer Valley Utah and Chicago residential lofts. Likewise, his negotiation skills are invaluable for his clients.
In addition to my professional biography above, it's extremely important to express my feelings, motivation and values for providing exceptional service to my clients/friends. I have a passion for excelling in everything I do. Nothing is more satisfying than surprising clients with knowledge, expertise and results beyond their expectations and hopes. This business is extremely personal; much the same as the relationships with your attorney, psychologist or investment adviser. Finding the right home fulfills the most intimate needs for each client’s lifestyle. Often it requires a meaningful understanding of finances, family, personal interests, health and other very personal issues. I take the time to fully understand my client’s needs, tastes and circumstances to find the home which fulfills their hopes and dreams. And when the moment arrives to bring my client together with the perfect property, their appreciation and satisfaction is the “wow” moment that's unique to real estate. While this is about providing a professional service, most often it leads to lifelong friendships. I can’t imagine a better mindset to start my work each day!
The listing, marketing and selling side of this business is a mirror image of the same issues. In order to achieve a successful sale at the highest possible price it is necessary to understand the complete nature of each property as you would if you were building it from the start on a vacant piece of land. Who would you build it for and who would you market it to? What are it’s unique and enhanced values? This assessment is the root of pricing each property as well as identifying and reaching the most interested buyers. I love putting my marketing abilities to work, and getting results!
My roots are based in the Manhattan Beach community of Brooklyn, NY. I left NY to attend Brandeis University for a degree in Economics followed by an MBA from Stanford. Personal interests include competitive swimming and tennis as well as a few instruments. I’ve raised a daughter (25) and son (23) who are thriving as wonderful people and are passionate about reaching for their life’s dreams and ambitions. My volunteer and community service commitments have always been focused on youth development and education.
